how much boost?
why does everyone wanna now "how much boost". your question should be "how much horsepower"?
18 lbs on a t4 sustains/makes way more power than a small t3/4 w/ 18 lbs.
using anything higher than 550cc injectors on a stock ecu is not recommended(with afc/fmu). that limits you to around 400 hsp to the wheels, give or take.

i do apoligize. my question should have stated. whats the biggest injector size, i can run with a stock ecu? after knowing this, i will need to ask " how much boost can i run on that injector size?"
440cc injectors are relatively easy to tune. the 550's will require the dyno without a doubt. we would still need to now what turbo your going to run to give you a boost level. also, the finer you tune the engine, the less boost you'll need to run to get a given amount of power. for instance....i may get 350hsp from a t3/4 @ 20lbs of boost. someone else may get 350 hsp from the same t3/4 @ 16lbs of boost. one motor is closer to destruction than the other.
Just because a motor is able to push more power out of a lower boost level doesn't necessarily mean that it's closer to destruction than the other. As long as there's plenty of fuel and there's a conservative timing map it's perfectly safe. Different mods and configurations can affect the amount of hp as well.
