How to keep cool?
I've had my 97 prelude built and boosted for 2 years now and have always been plagued by heat issues. I've installed a koyo radiator and run about 1.5 bottles of water wetter along with about 25% coolant and of course water. The turbo kit is fmax with a log mani so the trubo is pretty close to the radiator. If I turn the ac on in stop and go traffic forget about it. Here's some numbers. Hwy cruisin 180, stop and go traffic 200 but I have to move the temp switch to hot. If I sit too long I have to turn the heat on, in Florida, In 95 degree heat. I also just had the head rebuilt, (port flow) and there has been no improvement. Any help will be appreciated.

maybe run your fan to always be on, and no thermo. I know how hot it can get from living in az but i dont drive my boosed car because i'd have even bigger problems than you in 120 degree heat....

Run an additional fan on the front pushing air. As well as hard wire your stock fan to run all the time. A lower temp thermostat might help as well.
Good luck!

Fan switch might help casue i think the fan kicks on about 195 or so and a lower temp thermo wouldnt doing nothing stock honda thermo is all you need, if your stock thermostat is going bad or bad it will open earller and stay open all the way and that will cause high engine temps too,But 200-210 is fine

Thanks for the feed back. I'm running AEM EMS so if I'm not mistaken I can program the fans to kick on earlier. A lower temp thermostat is something I've considered. Thanks again.

very interesting... Although a colder thermo does work i know that for sure. I run a Mugne thermostat with fan switch and my car runs significantly cooler.
