how the HELL does compressor surge sound like?

does it sound like some fluttering sound when you press partial throttle and let go? like "flup, flup, flup, flup" very fast fluttering sound?

comp surge just sounds like pulses of air out the BOV. It should just go WHOOOOOOOOSH, not......WHOOOOPWHOOOOOOPWHOOOPWHOOOOP.

That it is a good question. I'm not sure you could pick it up as a sound but it would certainly be a bogging, stuttering misfire. Unless you were way, way overturbo'd, i'm not sure you would experience it.

yeah like a tesh tesh tesh very quickly and only for like maybe 7 of those fluttering when i let off the gas partially.. must be my cheap xs BOV, spring set to high
