I know that longer runners work to make better low rpm air velocity but what happens when you don't need to coax air velocity out of an engine such as with a turbo or other FI applications?
The reason I ask is because I'm boosting a B18B1 and it's got pretty long runners compared to most other VTEC motors. Is there power to be found in a short runner manifold such as the Skunk2?

turbo really likes larger plenums and shorter runners b/c of the massive amount of air it gobbles in. but yeah, skunk2 IM would be better than stock but a bigger aftermarket IM would do you better for higher boost applications
