Default How does CR affect hp?

Is there a formula? I have 9.0:1 pistons in a 1.8L and Type R head. When calculating the hp for a specific turbo how does the cr come into play?

CR will come into the calculation for dynamic compression which factors in boost...

so basically, you need more boost to match the dynamic compression of someone with 10:1 compression....

on the side, 9:1 pistons and a ITR head... if those are GSR 9:1 pistons, then you'll get about 8.8:1
