how to check your head??

Default how to check your head??

Well here my problem....Im F-ing scared that might head wont hold up. Is there anyway to check your head health with out disassembling it???

i have about 375+whp stock head..if that any usefull

posting what kind of motor/head this is would help, also how many miles on it, what mods you have etc... i would be more worried about the head in regards to rpm increase than HP increase... 375+ is not that wild for an OEM head however 215whp at 9800rpm IS very wild, catch my drift?

yeah im picking up what your putting down.....its a GSR fully built bottom end and redline at 8000rpm, but thinking putting the rev to 7500 to be on the SAFE SAFE side. Not realy sure how many miles on the head. But nothing is knocking.

You can do a leakdown test to see if the valves seal.But I'd have the head taken apart to check the springs.

Resurface the valves, get some good supertech spring and you'll be fine. The only thing I would worry about is a valve starting to float in the high RPM's without good springs.
