Default Horrible Boost Question

hello everyone, this may sound like a stupid question but ive been pondering this for a long time.
Ive got the 87 crx si d15a3. I recently bought a small .48 T3 from a garage sale for 100 with no shaft play. I plan to install it on the rex but i have questions.
#1. If i get a probes intercooler and run either rubber flex hose or pcv/abs tubing am i still going to acheive greater then 7 psi?
#2. On a stock motor howmuch hp am i going to gain with 7psi?
#3. I can chop my existing stock manifold and weld on the flange to connect it to the turbo right?
#4. How do i go about getting a downpipe? howmuch should i pay for one? can i make one with basic welding skills? I cant weld aluminum or very light steel.
#5. If i was to go really ghetto and use stock injectors would my engine throw a rod like my friends say so?
#6. With a stock ecu and stock injectors am I going to get any power at all?
#7. Will my stock honda clutch last more then a few runs?
#8. Was it a bad idea to buy that turbo?

5) rods break from power, not from a too lean mixture... but you will run into other problems with stoc inj. and a stock ecu... get a good ems or EVEN an FMU if you want ghetto style... but DO anything or the thing will last at leat one pull.

6) no more fuel no power. thats simple math. maybe for a few seconds befor your engine blow

7) d15, 7psi... maybe... don't know exactly... but you will not make much power so its possible it will last a while.

thats my 2ct.

It sounds like you want to do one of those -$500 turbo kits, and theres nothing wrong with that. (you will get addicted and end up doing a swap and real turbo kit though)-- but all you need if youre going to go cheap is an FMU, and probably in-tank fuel pump to be safe. Find an intercooler and BOV at a junkyard, get an ebay manifold, or chop up yours and weld on the flange, buy some pre-bent pipes to make the charge pipes, get a downpipe made, and buy some guages(A/F, boost, oil press). Then you can say you have a turbo, but thats pretty much all you can do with it though
