Honing Down My Decision, need some INPUT
well i'v been juggling the idea of building my b16a..or swapping something else in..
my set up is simple..
1st gen B16a JDM
itr pistons
gsr cams
simple..yes..(i bought the car like this so dont ask me why i did this work on the car cause i didnt)..anyways...was thinking...because my goal is 300whp...keep the head as it is..buy a GSR block..sleeve it and bore to 83..get JE pistons..cosmetic head gasket...i got someone who will buy my b16 block and itr pistons already..so this is why im throwin this together...will my b16 head go good with the gsr block?..will it breath easier than a GSR head?...some 550 injectors...thats it off the top of my head lemme know if i missed anything...
do i need to get turbo cams or are my GSR cams okay?..what work do i need to do to my valve train?..new springs?...is a port and polish necessary?..if not..would you guys recomend it?...
im doing so much because im building a turbo motor for realibility in mind as first priority...i want to pulloff 15psi on the weekend and just 10 on my daily drive (yes it is a daily driver)
lemme know if im headed in the right directed and fill me in on what i missed and should be taking into concideration thanx
i can keep my b16 LDS tranny for this set up correct?...

B16 head and gsr cams will work fine.As will the springs and retainers.No need to port and polish.Three hundred hp is an easy goal with a vtec b series engine.550 injector will be plenty for 300 hp.With the right turbo choice you won't need 15 psi to make 300 hp.
