Default Hondata Tuning in OREGON

Is there anyone besides ground zero that tunes hondatas in Oregon? Has anyone had their hondata tuned by ground zero? If so, what was your experience. I'm looking to get mine tuned early January. I don't really want to drive 850 miles to Import Builders in CA. Thanks.

If I could find a good EMS tuner, I may consider going with that.

I met this guy at one of the Woodburn Import Drag Races. He has a Dyno and is an Import tuner. His name is Ralph Friend. His shop is called Xcessive Motorsport. 3146 SE TV Hwy. #7. Hillsboro, Or. 97123. Phone: 503-693-2879. Hope this will help you out!

Crescent from C-speed racing will be tuning my setup. He is a friend of mine. He tunes up in Tacoma though. It is worth the drive, he knows the system very well. I have a S200 system.

Before I decided to just get the rom editor software and programmer I looked high and low for a decent hondata tuner around here. There are none. Now granted you can drive out to Tacoma and have ISA tune it, but from whoever I talked to on the phone they acted pretty rude, not very helpful. Get yourself a wideband 02 and display and I will tune it for you, if you have an s200. But make sure whoever you have tune your car knows what they are doing, majority of the intelligent tuners I have talked to here only deal with older domestics or supras

yeah, since ground zero doesn't have a dyno, they tune @ Xcessive. I talked to someone at Xcessive one time about getting a baseline run. I'm not too far away from them (hour and a half) but I'm not confident they have enough hondata experience to do the job im looking for. Anyone work with them before?
As far as this guy in tacoma, where's his dyno? And would he want to tune mine? Cause I'd make the drive up there if I knew I was getting some reliable tuning.

Don't call ISA direct. Just call C-speed racing and talk to Crescent. ISA is one of his sponsors and he tunes down there in Tacoma. He is one of the only few people I know in the NW that has any real experience with the hondata system. He has tuned a lot of systems out there with great sucess. He also has a wideband o2 for street tuning.

yeah it was a built gsr i know it would have made more but we were having problems with the wastegate holding boost so we had to turn it down to get a reliable power band wait till this guys motor for next year he wants something like 600 to the wheels for next year looking for those low tens

Paul and Kenny @ GROUND ZERO are very good hondata tuners... they are in the process of moving in a bigger shop with a dyno in-house.. there number is 503-251-1253..

Wassup Plato, David, Scott, Kenny, and Brian... I can vouch for that.... It was in a EK but now that motors going into an EG.... Trust us... Kenny knows what he's doing when it comes to Hondata... He got 355whp out of a stock sleeved GSR with pistons, rods, and a Portflow head on 13lbs... It ran an 11.9@119 in a full interior EK.. I would definately recommend them Peace - Adam

Well it seems everyone is gonna be boostin soon... ie Brian, Plato, Kenny (new motor), Duc, and David .. Duc still needs to hook up his new EK to get that motor broken in as does Brian... Then they still gotta break them in, and tune them... I'll put up some plots just as soon as i get them but i'm sure it's gonna be awhile... Also the racecars 2.0L LSVTEC made 250+whp and 162 torque... Scott ran an 11.43@117 and that was with shitty gearing... Just as he crossed the 1320 mark he was shifting it into 4th.. I'm sure that same motor with good gearing is capable of low 11's/high 10's... It was also tuned by Kenny and Ralph on Hondata... I'll try to get Kenny's, Khamlane's, and the racecars plots up real soon... David do you have any plots for your CRVTEC besides the baseline one that you gave me???? Lemme know.. Peace
