It appears to be the new hondata ECU program. It is basically going have the interface of the K pro but for B series without the cam angle option.
It is supposed to be released pretty soon. From what I have heard, it is going to be very user friendly.

Re: Hondata s300??? (Mighty Mintos)
Does this have any new features that would put it back up with Neptune?? Cause as of now it seems Neptune is stompin all over s200s.
I'd be interested in a comparison of the features of each.. pros and cons, etc.
Is there anywhere that information can be had about the s300?

If you can tune it yourself that alone puts it ahead of neptune, IMO.

Finally they come out with something to compete with the other newer stuff out there. They were getting crushed pretty bad by all the free programs and neptune in the obd1 department.

The Hondata s300 has been in beta testing since December of 2003.
"Which will be a fully tuneable version of the ECU like our s200 range."
Dealerships have been setup in Victoria, Queensland and Sydney.

Yeah, but if I'm in the market for an EMS right now and I'm a billion miles away from any Neptune tuner, that doesn't really do me much good does it I remember you talking about it when Neptune first came out, and wasn't the reason to keep it tuner only software for a while to prevent people from making their own free versions of neptune or something like that, ala uberdata to hondata?
If the user tunable version is on like a quicker than 2 month time frame I'm very interested.

Re: Hondata s300??? (Muckman)
Maybe he wanted to make sure he had a well developed product before releasing it to the public, unlike some companies. There has been alot of work done from the original software to improve and refine the software. Some companies throw a product out as soon as it can and deals with warranty and tech support 24 hours a day. Neptune is by far the most advanced obd1 software available, but it didn't happen overnight...

Most people with turbo cars, do not mess around tuning their car/
having only a few good tuners with access to it makes it more profitable? in the long run?
More money would be needed to be spent on securing the program so noone copies it and alters it

Re: Hondata s300??? (Nikos)
i tuned my car two weeks ago when it was 80 degrees, 2 days ago it was 94 degrees and the damn thins was sooooo damn rich. I'm tired of not having air temp correction. Sick and tired of it. I hate uberdata, its so much of a pain in the *** to use with 1000cc injectors.
I just want someone to help us little guys. not to mention the handful of people i tune here locally, start calling me in the summer months asking, "why am I so much slower" and i have to go into the standard reply: "hondata sucks, but its the best cheap option I can offer."
won't somone help us.
I hope to hell if there is a s300, that they will offer an upgrade for all the s200 users. I upgraded from stage 4 to s200, now i wonder what i'll pay to upgrade to the s300. does this mean my romulator and pocket programmer are garbage?

holy ****, ignition cut for rev limit, self datalogging, anti-lag, air temp correction, water temp correction, gear correction, any map sensor support.
595 though, i wonder if there will be an upgrade available to use faithful people.

so damn true. although just because i see a webpage, doesn't mean that i'll be able to buy it any time soon.
although, I still don't see tune by TPS sensor, that's a huge feature for ITB NA cars.
