Default Hondata Problems (please help!)

(if you read all the same forums i do please excuse the cross-posting )

We just tried starting my car with the Hondata hooked up and 440 injectors. It started and was fine for 3 seconds after which it start sputtering so we shut it off. Now it won't turn back on. CEL came on, i assume too rich from injectors flooding the engine?

This is a '99 Civic Si with the Greddy Turbo Kit (though the fact that there is a turbo there shouldn't matter)

Anyone else have any ideas? I'll have more updates in a little bit.

thanks in advance!

Short the service connector and check the MIL code just like you would with any CEL.

Actually there was no CEL....

The light on the hondata box is blinking on and off slowly so it sounds like the eeprom may not be programmed correctly...
Are the rom files just in standard binary format? I have access to rom burners at work but I don't have access to any hondata stage 4b & romeditor.

if someone sends me a standard base program rom can i burn it and will it work enough for me to drive the car? Can someone please send me a file??

thanks in advance

UPDATE

It would appear that the problem is that the EPROM is either blank or programmed wrong. The engine is being flooded and the eprom warning light is blinking on the hondata unit. Unfortunately the chip is not a reprogrammable one (what the hell is up with that?) so i'll have to get a flash chip when i go to the dyno
Sonny is hooking me up with his old ROM so hopefully that will work.
maybe i shoulda gotten a REAL standalone
