Default hondata and non functional temp gauge

I really want to use hondata s300 on my turbo 01 f23 accord however I have a question or two before I can decide.

first off when I look at notes in the hondata page going by application I find this information below VVVVV I am wondering if this will affect my cars driveability or tuneability.

2000-2002 Accords will no longer have a functional temp gauge.
Using a Hondata system on a 2000-2002 Accord as done at the user's discretion is not supported by Hondata

second question would be. Is it better to re wire my three wire iacv or swap a 2 wire iacv in?

looked real quickly at your other post. having the gauge not work is no big deal. you can get another gauge to do the dirty work.

as far as 3 to 2 wire, the po6 only uses a 2 wire, and all the y7 swaps i have done have gone to a 2 wire setup with no issues.

although i have never use a d/b ecm to run an f/h i know it is possible.

hope that helps.

I was under the impression that the p06 was for the f22 non vtec accord I was wrong .

I guess I will get a p28 and have the installer disable vtec on the ecu unless there is a bettrer ecu?

everything is the same from the p06 to the p28 except the vtec controlling. funny hting is you can install the vtec components into the p06. OR hondata has a map switching feature now that uses one of the outputs to run the solenoid. so you dont need to install the parts.
