HONDATA and Nitrous Install ?????
I'm just about ready to purchase and install a dry NOS brand system into my honda prelude with a hondata system. I know all of the steps for the install except how to setup the kit without using the fuel pressure components that are included in the kit. If i don't use the fuel pressure adapter, does this mean that i still have to use the two solenoids?
The fuel (blue regulator) that you get with the dry kit (usually kit #5122) basically tricks your stock FPR to raise the PSI to compensate for the nitrous that is being injected into the intake arm/manifold. That bypass jet should be used and installed correctly (facing the FPR). The size of that bypass jet is usually a .42 if I am not mistaken. It has been a while since I installed one of those kits. Also both solenoids should be used as well, as the fuel regulator from NOS mounts between the two on that blue tee.

If your using hondata to control your dry system then you just need one solenoid.
this is opend when the system in triggered by the ecu.
The ecu will up the injector duty% to match the added nitrous.
In other words you don't need anything that ups your fuel pressure.
If you still need help

thats how hondata say do it.

this is correct,
1 solinoid
1 nozzle
thats it, the hondata will account for fueling duties. have you figured out the injector increase increment yet? i cant remember what the set values are for the HP ratings from the NOS kit transfered into hondatas MAP table

the NOS dry kit comes with 2 solenoids and the fuel pressure adapter. If i'm only using 1 solenoid, which one do i use?
