Default Hondata Datalog Question

I'm trying to eliminate my boost spike do to the colder weather. I'm wondering on what the datalog is actually telling me for a MAP value? I have a GM 3Bar MAP from Hondata.

I did a small datalog at idle and I see values for MAP, so I'm assuming its datalogging the MAP voltage. (see pic, MAP is at the bottom)

As you can see from the 3rd gear pull, I'm boosting to about 1 bar give or take, but is this a voltage OR the actual value? I'm getting confused, because if this graph is showing me voltage, then its 1 volt .. get me?

I'm probably screwing up some silly detail, any thoughts?

Fredo,
You are reading in "Bar" on the bottom Map voltage so that would be a spike to about 16psi give or take. YOu are a good boy and let off I see. It spike again right when you got back on it then your panties got in a bunch and drove like a Sally. You know I am kidding.

Did I answer your question? You can set what parameters you want it to show in the options. Hit ctrl "T".

I thought it was BAR too, not volatges, but what I don't understand is at idle, based on the first picture I have up top, im seeing positive manifold pressure. Theres no way at idle im seeing a BAR value, im in VAC

Ya see?

click on the ECU view within the hondalogger and make sure you have 3-bar map sensor checked, if not, its map sensor valves are all over the place

also: it will read in bar, but 1 bar=14.5 atmospheres, so the first bar is your vacuum, the next 2 are actual boost

I think this is one of my 11 sec passes, but you can see that when it gets above 1-bar is when its in boost.

you can also see the benefits of WOT shifts, vs not doing it. Notice between 1st & 2nd, the boost falls off, 2-4th i remembered to stay on it and it held boost.

also see why i'm jumping to 1000cc injectors, the 550c's are maxing out, per hondata. running a little rich there too.

ahh now I get it, I don't think the 3bar was checked

BTW how did you get the A/F values in your hondalogger? I have the PLX M300 wideband

I'll datalog tonight when no ones on the highway, so I can slam it

2 things, when you check 3bar, it will automatically recalibrate your datalogs, so you still do have datalogs and you can see if you are getting a spike or not, just check it and look at the logs.

2. for lambda, first crtl +T click on lambda. It will pop up. then within settings, make sure you have it set for the plx m300 (same as what I have) and tell it to display stoiltolic at 14.7:1 rather than 1 lambda.
