Re: Hondata 2B has blinking red led? (uHz ! B18C1)
Check that the chip is sitting properly inside the socket. Also check the two wire connector from the blue box to the ecu.
Also, this one time I didn't burn the chip correctly and basically put in a blank chip. Took me forever to figure it out since I "thought" the chip was properly burned. So it was running in safe mode.

it means that the hondata is not receiving a signal from the ecu. see if the chip is backwards in the ecu....there is an arrow or a little u thing on one end of the chip and it has to face towards the ecu plugs where they connect to the wiring harness. if you need any more help getting it to work, pm me. i just finished troubleshooting this same problem so everything is pretty much fresh in my mind.
pm me for help if you need it

yes, it could also be the wire that goes from the bluebox to the ecu....and it is a four wire connecter, not two

take the blue box out, put it under your tire, drive over it, go inside, download uberdata, burn basemap, go to dyno

the 'U' shape is on the right side, so im assuming the chip is in correctly
Could it be by any chance that the hondata 2b ITSELF is messed up
and not just some wiring issue, burnt incorrectly ,ect?

Re: (legendboy)
Blah doug and the people at hondata have told people to open up the blue box before... to verify if it has the G-sensor chip etc. They aren't going to void your "warranty" unless you destroy the box, drop it in bleach, drive over it, etc. I can't imagine the blue box costs more than $20-$30 to make anyways. They make their money off the "intellectual property" they sell... not the hardware.
You guys seem to really be down on the people @ Hondata. I dunno what the deal is. Oh well.
