Default Homemade catch can

I made this out of one of those large Jaz catchcans. Basically i sawed it in half and stuffed on half with steel wool/ scouring pads. I sandwiched the steel wool between the scouring pads so it wouldn't break loose. I packed it in there tight and covered that half of the can with a plastic circle. The plastic circle has holes drilled in it. Finally i JB welded the two halves together.

Any comments are welcome good or bad. Hopefully it will work. I'll let you guys know if it works or not!

looks good. i've been trying to think of what i could use for a can without having to buy a "catch can" and pay full price. maybe a look at home depot will turn something up. thanks for sharing.

"You have a coffee can or something?"

"Is there a Ralph's around here?"

Lebowski fans should appreciate that

WTF? Now i'm throwing a code 45 system too lean. I smell gas or oil in the cabin area. I can't really tell. Can this be caused by me removing my PCV valve?
