Default HOME MADE STROKER?

I want a 2.0 liter out of 1.6... First the part I cannot understand..how do I increase the stroke w/ the shorter block? Which rods/pistons/crank can I use to stroke it to a 1.8?
Are the rods longer or shorter...Is the piston shorter or taller... Do I use the b16 crank or b18 crank? I know from reading that the wrist pin of the piston is pushed up 7mm which is where the extra displacement comes from..but that is about the jist of what I know about how to do this..

I do NOT want to buy a stroker kit.. I want to make one for boost!...crower rods/ je pistons/ stock crank...

After I've stroked it to a 1.8 then get golden eagle to make me some 84.5 mm sleeves netting me pretty close to a 2.0 w/ a b16 stamp and still an ok rod ratio.

anyone done this before? Any holes that I need to address?

Bottom line is What parts do I use to do this?

to stroke it you can use b18c crank with custom deck plate to get you to 2.0liter probably all custom stuff.

You dont want to stroke the b16, if you really want the 2.0l just get a b20.

Because of its really good low rod ratio, you dont want to stroke the b16, IMO. Just bore it out a bit.

b16s have perfect rod ratios..

perfect for high revving....

how about just bore it out to 1.8?
can't ya do that?

and call it a day?

even with moving the wrist pin and the ring pack up you will still have to have a deck plate to make even a 1.9Lstroker. I was contemplating on using a B17A crank (81.4mm stroke), B20A3 142.75mm (88-89 prelude rods) along with a 84.5mm bore to get a 1.754 rod ration while having 1826cc's. The only problem it that with the smallest piston compression height that ENDYN offers the deck would still have to be 207.199 on the B16A's 203mm stock deck height. The only way I can think of making it work would be to put that into a B18B/C block and mill the deck height way down (4mm) or move the wrist pin back to the original place and mill some off from there. A 86mm bore would give you 1891cc's with the B17A crank.
