HOLY MOTHERF&*^$# Backfire !!!
would like to share this with you guys and... just by any chance ... is there a way a honda would backfire like that ? i want mine to do it.... :D i wish my car had those GUNS ! lol

anti lag retards the timming so far that combustion happens in the manifold and on the way out. as far as the backfiring goin down the trach, he is probably using an ignition cut 2 step. mine pops like that just w/ no fire.

no as boostedcivicsir said anti lag retards the timing so far that the fuel ignites in the exhaust mani. the flames you are seeing is probably something along the lines of full throttle shift with hondata

mine does the same thing, the switch engages for just a split second, and i can even get some flame-age out the muffler

u need to roll out of the water box, but sweet run tho. how much power were u making on that run and what size of slicks are those?

I raceda guy last night in mtsu conquest with a t4 super 60. He would let out alot of black smoke between shifts and then shoot a huge flame outa the tailpipe. Man that thing was quick. lol

I was there when that ****** ran. That thing is wicked fast. He drove it to the track too from il to wi. Almost got wacked by a hatch though.

i wonder if the track officials or the police get sick of calls about gun shots in the area. lol
at peak boost ken had a civic from tucson doing that got some vid of it from a dyno tune on aem. CRAZY LOUD !!!!!!!!!
