Default hmm, will this work?

My friend has 2 twin vr4 turbos 9B TURBOS. I can get them for free, if I can figure out someway of putting them in, and and making it safe. I heard of one guy doing it, but he had trouble with the manifold, but thats not my problem. Theres another guy out of ny, who has it done, in a prelude, with no prob, like 5 something to the wheel. Will this kill my engine? How many pounds can i run, figuring I would have low compression, afc, with an intercooler, and the other basics..wastegate, blowoff, boost control...blah Is it worth it, or a bunch of b.s.?

I think they used the t25 turbo...the stock turbo on the 95-99 mitsubishi eclipse turbo. You can mount that turbo to your honda block with a HKS t25 exhaust manifold (available for both b and d series hondas). Then you will need to get piping, intercooler, etc etc etc

perfect... you sound right on! my friend has a gs-x so....
i think the t25 turbo is what his had to start. get a small IC hit up dsmtrader.com to find one. i bought one off there for 60 bucks, cash deal too(my point it was safe). greddy of hks has a manifold...harder to buy just the manifold from greddy though

the hks exhaust manifold wouldntwork, becasue these arnt t25's, they are 9b's im thinking i could get tubular manifolds made, 4 tubes, into one, two flanges for each turbo, one each per 2 cyenders? this sound right? and, yeah, ill have the piping, and all the necessary stuff. how may pounds am i going to be able to run off it? with/withoutrace gas? THESE ARE 9B TURBOS!

you want to run twin turbos on a honda??? that would be original, however i would suggest sticking to the norm on this one, as someting like that seems a bit difficult..... it would be great to see though.....good luck either way

the drt car runs twin turbo and really pushs soem insane hp. But overall its just not worth the trouble in running all the extra lines and intercooler piping. It will be cheper to stick to one turbo.

It clutters a lot, it makes a lot of top end power but its not as good on the launch, Will this car be a daily driver, if so i would suggest that U dont go twin turbo. However if its a drag only car and U have money to burn then by all means go ahead. There are some bugs that needs to be worked out, are U going to run them full time or sequentially, DRT even have to work out some glitches with theirs but the top end power is simply amazing.

drtracing.com.

Run them sequentially means kick one turbo on then kick the second turbo on at selected rpm. That is what the supra uses. The other setup is run both turbos at the same time.

I would highly discourage this setup for all our purposes. The whole design is not as efficient as one single turbo.

oh ok, i would probably run both, same time....i know this set up is new to integras you know, and yeah, it probably is shaky, and yeah, single turbo, way easier and safer, but my main goal is something different, something new..if i have to get through some bugs, i will...alot of peole have reg turbos,i want to be different, with one..more chanceof more things, you know?
