Default are hks ssqv adjustable?

i recently bought a universal hks ssqv bov and its on my car, i've been looking forums about it and see that there was an adjustable screw. when i look at mine there isn't one. do i have to take the bov apart or something? or does it not have one.

ARE YOU SURE?? there is no small hole on the back of the bov which is about a couple of centimeters wide?? it has to have one. this is weird. are you sure you are looking at the back. the back of the bov is also where the vaccum source is also located opposite of the front (where you can see the purple instert inside the bov)

if you are missing a screw, this problem can easily be fixed. go to a hardware store and get a screw that will fit it and a bolt that the screw will go through. put it thru the hole on the back of the bov and it will push it in. and voila, it's now adjustable.

I noticed mine didn't have the screw when I recieved it. I was wondering if it was some sort of fake or knock off but if it is they went through alot of work on getting the right packaging and labeling. Heres some pics of mine.

I'm gonna take it apart soon and see if theres a way to add the screw and make it adjustable.

even the HKS website diagrams show the set-screw. I would contact HKS if I were u. if someone is cloning there BOV's I betchu they would go apeshit. U might even get some free hks stuff from them if your lucky.

the new hks ssq bov's dont have screws in the back because the scre in the back didnt do anythign in the first place, so hks stopped making them withthe screw.

no the only thing that screw is there for is to adjust how sensitive it is to blow off. the tighter you tigthen the screw the more boost it takes to blow it off.
