Default HKS SSBOV question

Ok, how the hell do i put the Ring that goes between the BOV and the Flange on. It has to holes for it. I even have a tool that seems like it does the trick. Been messing with it for 2 days now off and on. How do i get it to sqeeze together and snap in. Is there a certain way to do it or something. HELP!!!
I only need like 3 more things done and im finished. Also, the filter for the BOV , where does it go. I have no Instruction with the kit. I know the Line goes to a Vaccum source .

Get a big, quality set of Crasftsman Snap-Ring pliers, they will get it installed in 10 sec. I first bought a cheap pair of ac delco, and the ring kept slipping off.

this post is hilarious to me... i thought i was an idiot this weekend when i put my friend's turbo kit on. we spent like most the nite trying to do it... tried different tools all kinda crap. ended up taking it to Car-Tek Tuning. THEY even had a lil trouble with it. Ended up putting the charge pipe in a vise grip to steady it, then get it in right. hehe... i feel a lot less stupid now lol

its a pain the ***.....what i did was put the charge pipe on a bench vice and mount the bov on it.then i had one person try to sqeeze the clip in while i took a flat head trying to get it to clip in.took about 5 minutes to do.

using that tool alone....had me stuck for about 3 days
