Im putting in a HKS EVC4, and was wondering if I could connect port #2 to the intake manifold. The instuctions want it to the comp. houseing or any where thats before the intercooler, so this kinda leads me to belive that this port needs to be boost only. Anyone have any experince?

You have to tap port 2 BEFORE the throttle body so NO you cannot hook it to your IM.

 

Whats the difference between before the throttle body and after, besides no vac. before?

 

Come on man, this is not rocket science. Take my word for it on how to hook it up, I own one. I also believe the directions are very clear and have a little throttle plate in the diagram if I remember correctly.

 

Well I hooked it up the the intake manifold anyway and it works fine.
