Default Hi-flow fuel pumps

Can anyone recommend a good brand? I've seen Holley, RC Engineering, Kinsler, Walbro, Weldon, Paxton, Jackson Racing... Holley looks good.

I think I'm looking for a 255lph application that will eventually see turbo (when I get cash in about 2 years ). Any downsides to running such a big pump on a street application?

Thanks for the help guys!

Holley and Jackson Racing are Walbro pumps.

Walbro=Holley=Jackson racing. They are all the same but rebadged. I recomend the Bosch or the NOS pump. I bought a used bad Bosch and I replaced it with the NOS pump and it has worked out pretty good. My new bosch is coming in this week so I'll be putting that back in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but... NOS is Holley... http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/NOS.html - check it out...

So I guess you recommend Walbro then .

NOS badged pumps are not the same as the holley badged pumps... nos had their own pumps before holley baught them, so I assume they still sell them... they are external pumps and are much biger than the walbro's

How about the stock pump. It flows enough for 375-400 flywheel horsepower at 35-40 psi.

Here are the test results:

Has anybody tried the bosch pump yet? The one that ENDYN is selling...anybody know where I can get the non-modified one for cheap? Will it fit in the stock intank pump location?

Or even better, Does anybody know of a different pump that has the same flow capabilities as the bosch, but cheaper? Which brand and part number?

Thanks for your help everyone... I bought a Holley/Walbro/NOS/whatever in-tank 190lph pump this morning. Worked out good, but didn't solve my problems... I'm going to get my injectors cleaned and balanced in the next week. Thanks again all!

I had a walboro intank a while back...it wasn't totally quiet....maybe that's because I ripped out my carpet and sound deadener stuff...

i have a intank Walbro 255lr/hr high pressure pump in my EG civic. Its a little loud but it works really really well. I bought it for $109 from Auto Performance Engineering (some guy in texas) as a kit. It was an easy install..just plugged right into the stock wiring.
