Default Here is some head work for the D guys

We are slowly developing a head package for the D head. It will include hot tanking, 3 or 5 angle valve job, surfacing, ss valves, springs and retainers etc. in any combination of services you desire. Part of the package will be a low cost port job. Here is a little tease. This is the increases shown by a small amount of grinding in the right places in the D exhaust port. I hope to keep the porting price for the intakes and exhaust down to about $200 for everything. The following flow chart shows our results to date. This is taking some time and is not near being ready yet. All work will be done on state of art new equipment. I will post pix of the operation as soon as I can. All I want to know right now is there any interest in the porting project at the $200 range. Thanks

What cams, springs, and retainers are you including in your package? How does your package compare to the Honda Saver head package? But the prices for the porting sound great though.

The guys in the civic forum are all a bunch of JDM stunnas who will say: "who cares do a swap." Now the guys in the road race autoX forum might feel differently

Earl: $200 for a port polish job would be great! Do you just gasket match the ports? Any dyno numbers? I know I'd be adding this to my list if you offer it.

Earl just tell me when my friend. I have a spare d16a6 head I can said you tomorrow if need be. I am definatly in for the $200 porting job. If the price is reasonable I would probably spring for the whole package, provided it's geared for forced induction (I can only assume it is).

Is that graph showing just the port work? Or is it everything?

Keep me posted!!

Not too sure what parts we will use for this build up. The beauty will be that you can pick and choose what ever you want. You would not be forced to take any of our parts. I know absolutely nothing of the HondaSaver package. I would offer it if it ever becomes available. The only reason for this post is to show some of the D lovers that they have not been completely forgotten.

OK, between all the IM's I'm getting and your posts, I'm down for Project D. Just need more time plus trying to get the race car finished. Only 5 weeks to opening IDRC event.
