HELP! turbo setup on a 91 EF hatch
okay i got my turbo setup on and everything is going fine (fully built LS motor so its tight) and i got my turbo squeezed in there but my down pipe wont fit in there because of the cross member.....and ideas on a way arround this short of buying $500 traction bars? I think notching out the cross member will weakin the cross member dramaticly, and my suspention is hooked to that. please help!
my buddy had to cut out a piece of his crossmember just to fit his header on...he's been fine, he's got a b16 with lsd..he gets on it every once in a while and didn't really feel like it weaken much. it's probably not the best way out there tho
i can set you up with an inexpensive crossmember. its not a traction bar but very much like the place racing crossmember which gives a lot of space for bigger downpipes. its 2XX shipped pM me for pricing

There's a lot of unneeded fat on the OEM crossmember, you can cut it out and box it with impunity.
Still, nothing clears on those chassis like the old Place Race crossmember. My Jimfab is just... difficult... by comparison.
