Default help with turbo set up

i recently purchaced a second hand greddy kit for my em1 its all legit and in great shape they guy was running a vortec fmu any help with instilation on this? i searched but could not find much recommend even running it? any one have a good thread on instillation thanks,

i plan on using rc 440cc 's 10 to 15 psi

i would recommend running a engine managment systems. It would be better than the fmu...Heres a link on how to install the fmu though.

i running on chrome and gunna have church in la tune it but would you still recommend running the fmu? is it worth it or would it help much? thanks for link

You can't run a vortech FMU if it came with the Greddy injectors. You can if it didn't, but otherwise, you'll need other management completely with larger injectors and a tune. In essence you didn't get a "complete" GReddy kit

no its not the complete greddy kit im running rc 440s with a w255l pump so i think the pressure will alow sufficient to cope with the fmu. my question is whats the worth of even having it ? they guy was running it b4 on a street tune with vafc2 im not going down that street.

you can only run bigger injectors with an EMS system. the FMU raises the fuel pressure to make it dispence more fuel according to your boost levels. U have to trick ur ECU not to read positive pressure so it doesnt go into limp mode. I would just get something thats tunable so u can run the bigger injectors the right way. If u put bigger injectors with the FMU u are ust going to wash ur cylender walls with gas...

sound good i dnt like this fmu crap any ways. ima sell it to the dude with the wicked superfast mustang at work considering i got it for free
