I was driving on the highway today, 5th gear no boost, in vacuum, about 65mph when suddenly the car starts sputtering like its running on 3 cylinders.

I go to the shoulder to pull over and when i take it out of gear it dies. I look under the hood and am relieved to see that the timing belt is still OK.

I look at my wires, my msd connections, all y ignition components and it all seems fine. My hondata is fine, no blinking light at all.
My Fuel pressure is fine and my pump is working fine.

I try to start it up again and its the same thing....sputters and starts then after a few secs after the RPM's die down it dies.

Fully built h23.
MSD 6al ignition with ss blaster
hondata 3b
walbro 255
aeromotive fpr
aem fuel rail
....a lot more...

Does anyone had similar problems? The car was fully tuned and running strong untill this happened. Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

 

it may be the coil i have had 2 msd coils go bad on me

 

first start with the plugs.....
