Default Help Please having problems

Hi I have a turbo setup and where the intercooler piping and the turbo meet the silicone coupling keeps falling off under boost.I need a solution to this,to where it wont blow off.Im running about 18psi and it wont stay on.Is this supposed to be welded on?Is there some sort of glue or epoxy?Any help please!

t bolt clamps being used?

If you're not using t-bolt clamps, start.

If you are, it's not being secured properly, somehow.

Use t-bolt clamps....if that stll doesn't work you need to get someone to weld a beed around the opening so that the clamp has something to bite onto...

NO, not hairspray, just T-bolt clamps, not the typical philips/flat head wimpy little clamps. The ones you have are probably not T-bolt. Just search T-bolt clamps anywhere, here or google or whatever and you will find it. Or pick them up at a local performance shop.

The screw on clamps will probably strip the head of the screw before you will get them tight enough not to come off under boost... you need at minimum T-bolt clamps...www.full-race.com sells them, among many other places.

I've always cleaned my IC piping and used hairspray in conjunction with my 2.75" T-bolt clamps. It's a tad overkill, but i dont want them falling off.

If T-bolts dont work for you, you can have the ends bead rolled. If you're truly a baller, get yourself a set of Wiggins clamps
