Default HELP!! OVERHEATING

my set up is a b16 with a t3/t4. the car over heats when i go into boost and then will continue raising. if im just around town its fine after about 15 minutes of me beating on it the heat gauge climbs. when it is overheating i pulled over. if i step on the gas lightly raising the rpms to 2500 the needle the engine starts to cool down. when it returns to regular idle the temp will go up again. but it only starts to over heat while in boost.
i changed the thermostat and did a compression test. teh thermostat helped stay cool longer but the same thing keeps happenig. the numbers from the compression test were 140-138-128-140
ill pull the head off on monday when im off. does it sound like a cracked sleeve or blown out head gasket? what else could it be?
the fan is wired up correctly

wow alot of boostheads overheating lately...make sure you radiator fan isnt blowing air towards the intercooler(common mistake). If not then pull the head and go frum there, could be a warped head.

the fan needs to pull air throught the radiator. think about it like this, if your driving down the road and air is blowing at the radiator you dont want the fan pushing the air back you want it to be pulling that cooler air through the radiator.

you might have a minor headgasket leak or your radiator is insufficient.

i would go with head gasket. how many miles are we talking about? just dont overlook the simple stuff before you rip the head off!

just about 3000 miles on the motor and this problem started about 3 days ago.
im going to check my radiator in a few minutes to see if it has anything clogged in there.

when i build the motor i had to use a 82mm head gasket cause they were out of 81.5mm. but it was fine all until 3 days ago. im left with no other chouse but to take the head off it the radiator is clear.

i have a dual core radiator half size radiator.

fix the fan first
all you have to do is swithc the wires around and then go from there

make sure you don't have exhaust leaks. check all connection, wastegate even dumptube.. in my case it was dumptube and melted a/c fan. a while ago my wastegate elbow came loose and car started to overheat while in traffic, so exhaust can definatly do it. antother thing cheap to replace is radiator cap

checked my radiator and it has no blockage. the fan is a factory cooling fan and it blows the air towards the motor. i plan on picking up an ITR water pump.

B16 motor and head with a ITR water pump. do i use the B16 timing belt?
i know the gsr is too tall. but they say match the belt with the pump.

would i be ok using the B16 belt?

i searched and all it talked about was pumps and belts for ls/vtec set up

i beleive you would use the B16 belt. the GSR wont work cause it has a taller deck height from the longer stroked crank. the pumps should have the same size drive gear on them though.

too low even for low compression pistons 9:1?
for 81.5mm pistons will the oem head gasket fit?

yea the head gasket was done and so were my pistons all four of them. to my suprise the sleeves are just ducky for running 20 psi. i know the blocked gaued is a lil chewed but i got it for free so i put it in there. and the other 2 pistons look like the ones in the photos
so ill be building my sleeved block sooner then i thought.
