Default Help with oil problemS??

I recently had a full precision turbo kit installed on a b16a. I am having some oil problems with it. The oil the tuner put in it happened to burn out. And no one every informed me about putting any other oil in it. So I put 10w-30 as normal but it's smoking like crazy now. A guy I know who had a r32 drag car told me to put 30w in it. He said that the oil is to thin and sealing through the turbo seals that's why it's smoking hardcore. In a way I trust him but I wanna ask someone who has a turbo HONDA..not skyline..if anyone can please let me know something .. Thanks

I don't understand. When you say the oil "burn out" are you saying there was no oil in the motor?

If there is no oil in the motor, then that is why it started smoking when you put some in it lol. There are mixed opinions about which oil is best for a turbo honda but after all, they are still opinions. The massive smoking you have is not due to a change in oil weight.

When I got the car back from the tuner it had oil in it..then before I got a chance to change my oil about 600 miles at first..my oil light came on..checked it and there was barely any in there..so I drained it all..got new oil filter..and I put 10w-30 mobil 1..and now it smokes really bad..I'm just trying to figure out what could be a main cause in the oil burning..also I checked every where and have no leaks
