Default HELP!! need immediate help, so cali area!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I tried searching, but for some damned reason it's not coming up with ANY results, I'm getting a weird error page, anyhow heres my problem:

I have a boosted 2000 civic si, maxrev turbo kit, hondata, 550 rc injectors etc.. daily driven for about 7 months so far, synthetic oil changes every 2500 miles etc..everything was fine until today, I went to run some errands, and when I got back inside my car, I cranked and nothing.. car wouldn't start, so I think hm.. this happens every once in a blue moon, so it should start right up with a little tap on the acceleration...

WRONG!.. I cranked again with a tap on the gas and then i hear a loudass *KNOCK*, sounds like something broke... so I'm very startled and pissed at this point, I check everything, No visible leaks, no signs of anything, I manage to start the engine after that but I have a VERY ERRATIC idle, stays above 2000 RPM and never goes down, I thought maybe i somehow blew a piston or whatnot, So i check my exhaust, NO smoke as usual, I ended up having to drive 20 miles home because everyone was busy..

I did try to step on it once to see if i still had boost on the way home, I did feel a bit, but I could barely hear the blowoff valve, maybe it was the sound of turbo surge?, very faint fffht ffht ffhtt noise, anyways I don't want to drive it any longer without fixing the problem whatever it may be, so you SO CALI h-t guys, please help me, I can pay you to fix my car if it's not much (jobless for 1 month now), help a brother out

That makes sense. The car is running like crap and it didn't want to start, so floor it and see what happens

yeah rondigs, that's the ticket.. i ask for help and get a dumbass comment... first of all the car was running fine, and when I get this problem, it usually starts right up if i crank and slightly tap the accel... who said I "FLOORED" it?.. go run to your mama now

I would start by doing a compression test, that will rule a lot of things out.

The flutter sound you're hearing is compressor surge. I'm pretty sure this is when air goes back through the compressor of the turbo instead of out the BOV. (somebody correct me if I'm wrong here) It can be caused by a few things, but I'm not sure how it can relate to your car not starting/idling properly. It ran fine the whole way home? How did it idle after you started driving, at red lights and such?

well i don't have the tools to run a compression test, and yes it does sound like its compressor surge... the main trouble is not my car starting properly.. its just the loud pop followed by erratic idling and no more bov... i stayed out of boost the whole way home and at red lights the idle was around 2k rpm fluctuating up and down 1.5rpm-2.5rpm..

Im going to take a shot in the dark on this one. I would check all the vacuum lines that they are tight and no holes in them. My theory is that when he is trying to start up the vehicle and there is atmospheric pressure being sent to the hondata instead of vacuum. Therefore causing hondata to adjust its ignition table to atmospheric pressure at startup. This might account for the loud noise that was heard. Also it makes sense because he is having compressor surge. No vacuum line...compressor surge.

I probably just made a complete a** out of myself but oh well.

the tool for a compression test is cheap. like 20 bones. its worth it to have it anyway even if it doesnt help in this situation.
