Default Help me decide which Precision turbo to use

Okay guys, i'm a nissan guy. I've read about all the beautiful things precision turbos have done for hondas, but when i went on my nissan board, they haven't any experience or knowledge about these turbos. With the incredible numbers Arturbo and others are cranking out with these turbos, i had to buy in. Since they didn't even consider these turbos, i had to make my way over here.

Lets say i've got an RB25det (and dont flame me for not gettin an rb26dett) so far i've read about the SC61 turbo doing insane things for the honda's 1.8's and 2.0's. Would the 2.5 litre rb25det be too big of a motor for this turbo? The RB25det redlines at 6500 *snicker* and i'd want it to spool up relatively early and make power ALL the way up in the powerband.

So in other words, which line of precision turbos would be advisable for this motor? I know i'm asking about a nissan motor in a honda forum, but when the most knowledgable guys are here, i haven't really got a choice. Help out a brotha

The cool thing about your motor is that you have the displacement to push a the turbo, while us hondas have to rev it up to get it going. In most applications the SC61 with a .63AR with a T31 .76 trim(stage 5 wheel) will do the job. If you want to go slightly larger I would go with a T04 wheel .69 trim, or the t04 O-trim.

I personally would go with the stage 5 wheel. I have several coming in if you are interested.

infuckingcredible!

Arturbo, thanks for the quick reply! i really appreciate it.
Over at the nissan forums, it moves at a snail's pace.

I think i'm going to enjoy my move over to the honda boards for tech Q's.

PS arturbo, you doomed yourself to a slew of my future questions
Azn_flava turned me over to you for your knowledge (blame him)

Smallest T3 housing to use with the RB is the AR.82. The RB produces a lot more exhaust energy so it will spool the big T3 housing with ease. The O-trim T4 AR.69/.70 is a much better choice for a street setup.

Are you a member of Fresh Alloy? There's lots of good info over there?

That is why I am here.
Dee a precision .63AR is a hogged out version. I think if you were to really take the true AR, it wouldnt be a true 63AR.

I am also a member of fresh alloy, but they are sometimes closed minded. The only people over there that have ***** are Geaser, Enthropy, Javier, and Chris.
