Default Help!!!! maybe boosted problem????????

<U></U>

I have a 00 gsr with a t3/t4 turbo, running 6psi, with stock injectors-(i have RC440 injectors i'm installing this week), with all stock internals.
Tonight i raced a 5.slow stang that i have beatin before, but he recently moded it and wanted to re-race. While i was pulling on him by about 4 car lenghts then when my car got between 6k and 6.5k rpms my car felt as almost my rev limiter came on, but my car dosn't redline untill 8k. Can anyone point me in the right direction to correcting this problem?

Probably blowing the spark out. Plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor, and coil are all things to check.

It could be another probablem as well but when I would bring it into vtec it would act like it hit the rev limiter at 6k and the check engine light would come on. Changed the oil and hasnt done it since.
