This is my setup. a homemade turbo. turbo out of a talon, gaskets, adapter.. u know..

Where does this thing go? do i need it?

Look at this buddy. Where does this dirty guy go? god i suck @ guessing.

Look at this guy. is this for the oil? i dont know....came off a talon i tell you.

This is the "Test-on" longblock. a d15z1. This turbo is going on my hatch, with a d15b8. I want to abuse the ******, while i build my d16z6.
Anyways, i know how to install the turbo, but i have a question. What side of the turbo goes where? does the silver side go towards the tranny, or towards the timing belt?
What else do i need to buy? i already ordered the pipes, the oil pan and the bov. What else am i going to need? i already searched. i found some good links, but none mentioned where the top hoses go to.

Ok pic #1 Oil Return, puts oil back into the oil pan #2 & #3 are coolant feeds and return, really dont need these
My sugestion is research a bit more before putting the kit on. Check out homemadeturbo.com. there are alot of dsm setups there.
Good luck and have fun

you need to clock the turbo, depends how you want it either way but you need the dp made to go with what directions you want
