I just picked up a turbo from a buddy of mine while cleaning out his garage and was going to toss it so I snatched it up from him. I know nothing about turbos as it's new to me so I'd thought I ask you guys.

There are a bunch of numbers on it I'm not sure what they mean. the part number on the silver housing is 717106-1.

This is the first turbo I've ever held, this thing is huge. it's about the size of my head. If you guys need more pictures of the numbers let me know.

 

from the looks of the internal gate, probably came off a semi or something.

it looks like a gt 30 04 35 but I'm not sure?
