Default help with a h23 turbokit

I'm kinda new to the tunng scene, I'm looking into a turbo kit for my 95 Prelude H23 motor, Wondering if its better to buy the whole kit or just peice it together ? and if there is a Kit out there thats anygood could you link it? I removed my AC and my price Range is between $3,000-$5,000 anyresponce would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time.

you can build a pretty good turbo kit for about 1,200 with a intercooler. check ebay. u can save a lot of money like i did.

if you have the money i would go to full-race.com and look at some gt turbos

These are the 800 dollar-ish kits sold on ebay known for their shitty-ness. Yes some people run them for months, and nothing happens, but the majority of their kits suck. Manifolds break in half, turbo's come with blown seals etc.

Thats a pretty good price range, which will net you a very nice kit. I'd reccomend hanging around the f/i forum and searching and seeing what other people with H23's are running and whatnot.
