Help with fuel or ignition problem
In the past week when I go above half throttle my car hesitates and misses. It seems worse the more it is warmed up. I've changed plugs and wires which helped for a couple pulls but that's it. Also, a couple months ago my car started taking a long time to start, worse when it is warmer outside. Since then I put in MSD ign+coil and changed fuel filter, but it didn't help. My setup is GSR on 5 psi, walbro 255, RC 440's with techtom chip.

Could be running to rich. What are you using to lean out the 440 injectors? Also is your chip setup for turbo if not put the stock chip back in. Most chips for N/A are made to have advanced timing and dump more fuel.

The chip is programmed with a wideband O2 on a dyno. I shouldn't be too rich all of a sudden in less something went wrong. I have been running this set-up for 2 years without a problem. My plugs do look rich though, maybe my fpr isn't working properly?

Re: Help with fuel or ignition problem (c_penson)
sometimes when the main relay on you car if faulty it takes a while to start the fuel pump so the car sometimes takes a lot to start

Sounds like a problem I had when my O2 sensor was going bad--it didnt throw a code either. Might want to look into that.

I hear the pump come on right away so I don't think it is the relay. It could be the O2 I will try a different one and see if that helps. Anyone else hear using the Techtom chip? I'm not sure if it uses the O2 sensor or not.
Thanx for ideas so far.
