Default Help with F.I. problem I"m having.

Alright, today I was driving around and my jrsc was performing great. Then, I stopped and talked to some friends and when I left, it did'nt work right. It would still be in vaccumm when it was supposed too, but when I floored it, it just went to 0 and stayed there, it would'nt make any boost. Then when I got into vtec it would make about 4lbs. of boost, instead of the 7 it is supposed to make. But until I got to about 5k rpm's, it won't make any boost. What do you guys suppose is the problem?

Well, it's either the belt or you have a leak to your boost gage.

The belts all seem to be in place. Would a leak to teh gauge cause it not to boost until vtec?

Does it feel like its not boosting? or does it just show that its not boosting?

I'd say pop your hood and rev your engine using the tb. Try to put your hand around the s/c and head...see if you can feel a leak.

Ok, I believe that I need to retension my belt. My question is, how do I retension my s/c belt?

look at the instuctions for installing the supercharger. It also will tell you how to tension the belt. you need to check the crank to alternator belt and the alternator to blower belt.
