I'm stuck on deciding between AEM series 2 and s300
setup is
b18c sleeved 83mm cp 9:1
ls crank
manley rods
supertech valvetrain and flate faced nitrate coated valves
bc stage 2 n/a cams
ge cam gears
afi topmount
precision dbb 6765
aem water/meth
ID 1000
aeromotive fpr
ge fuel rail
fluidampr
tuner is very comfortable with both systems
thanks in advance

s300, neptune or ectune is all you need. most peopel that buy aem ems dont even use its full potentional they buy it to say they have an AEM EMS and its expensive for the average setup
AEM EMS is too much for 90% of us. Its complicated and expensive too. I went from AEM to Neptune and I love it. Stock engine start and idle are ignored until you dont have it.

No but I hated mine. I learned how to tune on it and I think I have a better understanding of EFI because of it. But I could never tune out some of the annoyances nor could several pro tuners. I switched to Neptune and love it. Its childsplay by comparison. Sometimes Id like to revisit the newer AEM software thinking it may have improved but then I have cold sweats. I have a love/hate relationship with AEM EMS.

Cost is really not a concern, Im getting a super deal on aem series 2 for $900, s300 shipped to me with boost solenoid is gonna run $600-650
I jus want the most flexibility in changing maps from pump/meth to race gas, cop for the future, and mostly the most control over everything
