Default Help with ECU Control

I had my ecu chipped and a cable installed for use with ECUControl .. it's OBD0 and when I hook it up to my computer it says connected on ECUControl, however nothing works on it. I do have an AFC installed.. will this affect it? Anyone out there with ECUControl experience that could help me. TIA!
