Hey guys,

I just put in a custom turbo, and the car runs like crap. when i boost i can see the guage go to like 5-7psi but i barely even feel it. and the a/f guage is between stoich and rich ONLY if i feather the gas, but when i romp on it the a/f guage goes into lean quick style and when that happens the car bogs. of course i let off the gas immediately. but that stuff happens all the time! so im stuck just driving it slow and not boosting very much.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

everything else is stock besides this stuff

Do you not have a aftermarket fuel pump? That could be your problem! I didnt see anything about you having a high flow fuel pump.

 

yeah i don't really have any kind of fuel upgrades besides the fmu.
I think that is the problem. but when i am in boost the a/f guage is still around stoich and rich. either 3 or 4 leds, 2 in yellow and 2 in green.

i have another ?
my a/f guage gets dim sometimes and other times the lights jump when i turn my headlights on. is that normal?? can the o2 sensor be messin everything up.
