Ok well my setup is 40psi fuel pressure at idle and the afc settings are decently rich as well. I never finished tuning but I was always overly rich and going back soon. Anyway so I've always been rich as far as the a/f gauge is concerned (I know why should I beleive that.. but its always been in rich). Now recently im in the middle of the orange to low orange area. Its not even like the weather since I've been in colder climate and still never had this problem. So I richened up my afc settings by like 4 percent and it didnt really change at all. But the car black smokes now in boost due to the increased settings. I checked the gauge wiring and it seems straight. Never any pinging or loss of power. It just kinda bothers me lol. What do you guys think?

 

Mine did the same thing after tuning.I wouldn't worry about it esp. if your blowing black smoke (unburned fuel).
your o2 sensor may be showing it's age....
The only thing my air/fuel gauge is good for is to tell me if my o2 sensor is still working

 

i would change that a/f guage to an egt

 

Ordering my egt tonight actually. Hrm yeah I'm gonna pull the o2 sensor tonight and see if it is in good physical shape.

 

check that o2 sensor. It messed me up and made my car go lean

 

What should I look for?

 

*bump* How can I tell if my o2 sensor is takin a crap?
