Ok i have a eg with a gsr superchaged motor. I had it dynoed last week ran perfect on dyno. Pulled it off then was right behind the dyno and it would not go over 3k ive tried everthing antoher thottle body with senors and chaged the map about 3 times when i do it works right of about two revs after that wont go over 3k. any advice is welcome at this point.

Sounds like Limp Home Mode - possibly the chipping job...

 

Yes its tuned ran soo good on the dyno. I can change the map senor and it will rev right about two times then back to were u cant rev over 3k.
and the red light on my hondata stays on even after it starts cutting.

 

Are you getting any CELs?
Did you by chance swap the connections for the TPS and MAP?

 

no codes excpect when its boucing at 3k it only last about 1 sec so i cant check it. and yes i chaged my throttle body and it had different senors on it out of my b20vtec and it runs.

Dont go that nuts just yet. Sound like limp mode. First off what are you tuned on what system ? Second limp mode can be caused by a lot of things. My car had a sticky t-stat and when my engine temp was getting to hot it would switch into limp mode to protect the engine. So my advise to use is before you just start throwing new parts at it and probually making it worse do some troubleshooting. What are your AFR when its running before it goes into limp mode, Whats the engine temp ? is it miss fireing, when it thores a code what code give us some more info and get back to me.

and the red light on the s300 is a good indicator its not right.

Borrrow someones s300 to diagnose

 

I used my s200 off my other hatch still stopping at 3k it can be dead cold frist start it will just go to 3k and i have two more extra harness I would not go buy one. Tuned on hondata s100.
