Default help on buildn a block

i own a b18c and i just bought the rods and pistons. im gonna boost the motor. im building a high comp turbo . im planing to runnin the car on about 10-15psi. anyway ive been told i to change oil pump, rod bearings and to balance the crank. what do u guys think? the motor is only gonna be drivin on the street. never gonna see the track.

you dont rebalance the crank, you just have to polish it.

You have got to be kidding? That thing will blowup on racegas! Good luck on the street.I say street not streets because thats how far its gonna go.

my mates b16 has the same setup and his car has been fine for the past year. our fuel here in australia is 98octane and his car runs fine with out octane booster. the only difference is that his whole bottom end has been balanced and polished.

Just play it safe and use a 9.5 to 9.0 compression ratio.Youll make more power than using high compression because youll beable to boost more.
