You're not going turbo with $1,200.

A local company (E-motor) sells their turbo kits for $800-900. They are similar to what you find on ebay. You would still need a tune and injectors. DSM 450's will be your best bet. $1200 would be close, but that would not be a route I would want to take. Im not a big fan of the JRSC kits.. Supercharging a 4 cylinder isnt very effecient. My Cobalt is supercharged and its fun, but just not effecient. With all roots style blowers heatsoak is a big factor.

On stuff like this man, you get what you pay for. If you get this kit, I would recommend getting a nice precision or garret turbo. Everything else in the kit is pretty universal..

Piece your own kit togethor, little more spendy but you'll make better HP numbers (Usually). Try www.trackforged.com They have really nice downpipes and manifolds with lifetime warranties

I dont know too much about greddy. I think their stuff is way over priced.. Call Tru Motorsports @ 317-787-8668 and ask them about a Emotor turbo kit for your car. The owners name is Jorge. Tell him Avijit sent you. He can ship it to your door.

After the kit, wideband and other peripherals AND the tune you will need to upgrade the clutch. Even a small 15g at 6PSI had my stock clutch slipping like crazy. That's why I said you won't do it for $1,200. Save up more money.

nelson is one of the only guys at that place i would speak to. most the people i spoke with there were idiots and for the most part they sell garbage. about the only brand i would buy from them is precision, everything else is china crap.

i ordered a 5431b from those guys awhile back and a couple of those dudes speak the most broken english i've ever heard. only nelson was a solid dude that fixed the multiple mistakes the other idiots made

Oh ya man. Nelson is actually a buddy of mine. There is only like 2 ppl there that speak english. When I worked for Tru Motorsports I would make multiple trips to their warehouse each week and always had a hard time communicating with them. But they dont sell direct so the buyer wont have to deal with them. I have never bought anything from emotor, and dont plan on it either, but the OP said he was looking for boost options and found that he can do a JRSC for 1200. This is one of the options to get him boosted for as little as possible.

btw- I lied. I bought a 2.25-2.5 inch 90deg reducer coupler from them. lol

I thought about Hondata once upon a time. You should check out Neptune. Also think about upgrading the clutch. And don't forget monitoring-oil pressure, wideband.
