Help!!Bent valves??
Well I went to the drag strip and had a horrible night. FIrst off I had a big problem getting traction. Then to make matters worse I shift from 3rd to 2nd and now the car won't idle
. It drives fine and has a very small skip in it. The more I drive it the worse the skip gets. Anyway I checked all the plugs and none of them were bent or broken. The only other thing I can think of is jumped timing. ANyone else got any suggestions? BTW, I havent had a chance to do a compression test cause it's late and my tools are at work. I will check tomorrow. later.
My best run was crappy cause it spun ALOT. I ran an 8.33 @ 90mph!!!
Bad E.T.
Good MPH

its alot cheaper if you take the head off yourself and just take it directly to a machine shop to grind down the valves and do the valve seats. how many did you bend?
I don't know exactly how many I bent but cyl. 1 and 4 are shot. I know it would probably be cheaper to take it to a shop, but I don't have any down time (2-3weeks) to do that so if anyone has one for a B18c then let me know. Thanks Earl for the help
