best way to tell if valves are bent??
take the head off and put water in each of the chambers and see if it leakes? or is there another way? what about a way to check with the head still on. btw, car wont start.

Do a compression test, if there is zero compression you will know that you most likely have bent valves.

to tell for sure, pull the head...make sure all valves are completely closed...poor alcohol from the top. wait and see if it seeps through, touch and make sure it's alcohol and not something different by the smell.

Your spark plugs should be able to tell you alot also. If it doesn't have good compression you should have alot of deposits on the plugs. Thick black

lol i did it on my old motor it was VX and i went to down shift and went into the worng fuckn gear and ended up reving up too i think alil over 8 stock rev limiter is at 6 ya it ran so fuckn shitty after that but i knew i was gona swap so i was all good
