Ok - I need a new tranny for a boosted app.

I blew the imput shaft bearing in my GSR transmission.

I want longer gears, possibly LSD if the price is right - and the transmission has to be without grinds.

Should I go for a b16 hydro, LS tranny, or GSR again.

What about if i was to buy a used b16 or GSR transmission with LSD?

I am going to be making around 400whp and I want a transmission that can handle the power (i just installed an ACT Twin-Disc 6puck)

Id also like to have longer gears than the GSR transmission has to offer.

Either way id like to get out of this mess without having to have someone split the case because that costs $ alot $

act twin disc 6 pucks must be new.. man do some research this topic has been taken out back and beaten many of times

 

So you want longer gears which would make your car slower. Odd.

Why not pick up an LSD and an input shaft bearing and fix your existing gearbox?

 

on ebay there is a coupel acura dealers that are selling brand spanking new Integra Type R gearboxes for $1650 shipped to your door. That is a ton of loot but it may be about the same or cheaper than to buy an LSD and have someone rebuild your existing GSR.

On top you can sell your busted hydro GSR for a couple hundred on ebay.
