Hi! I have a b16 turbo- the car was running excellent yesterday. then it happened today, i was going 35mph at -%10 throttle i had my laptop hooked up logging. then the car started to act mad. my wideband started going 12.9 rich then to lean 19.9- then it cut off. i don't know how- but my map sensor vac. line was disconnected. now that i have fixed it and checked everything -all vac.line check my oil ect. replace the mapsensor, sparkplug. now the car will crank- but only for 30sec then it cuts off. can anyone tell me if my engine is blown. or is there something else wrong. help please.

try checking your injector wires maybe one of them isnt in all the way.

 

i have check all the injector wire it's good.

 

is there anyone here that has the knowlegde to answer my question. please don't just look at my thread give me some info. thanks.

 

wow 72 people checked my thread. one only replyed. hmm maybe if i start my thread by saying i made 800fwhp with my b16turbo i bet everyone would say something as-long as it's not technical questions.

 

Check your main relay.
Do a compresson check if you think your motor is gone.

You have to tell us what you have checked already, if not then everyone will tell you to check for fuel pressure, spark, ignition and blah blah blah.

 

I have check.
main relay is good.
fuel pressure is good.
spark ignition is good
injector is good.

the only thing i haven't check is compression test. my question is what will make the car start for about 30sec then cut off. if the compression is bad i think it wouldn't start at all.
