Heater Controls Hondata and P30
Ok this is kind of weird and I'm not sure what's up so I figured I'd post. I just got he motor put in the car the other day. It's fully build gsr going in a 00 si. Anyway, before I dropped in the ECU I hooked up the heater controls again, because some thief decided to liberate me of my stereo and smashed the console so I had to redo it all. Anyway, I get it all put back together and the controls work fine. Fans speed varies as it should I can switch between fresh and recirculated air not problem. This was with no ECU. So we chip the P30 ECU and put a stock GSR map on the motor, no turbo yet we just wanted to get going on the break in. Now the fan is only all the way on or off, no variable speed at all. Also the recirculation switch light only comes on intermittenlly. Now I had a p28 ECU previously with Hondata and didn't have this problem at all. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what this may be or what I should check. My first thought is to pull the console out and double check the wiring even though it was working fine previous to the motor and ECU install.
